This book is all the feels. The Road To You is a beautiful heart aching feel it in your soul book. From the very beginning I was drawn in and held to a gooey mess. I wiped my tears from my eyes many times over. Elara makes me want to just hug her tight with all that she has endured. The impact that Kam and Kane have on her is epic. When it comes down to it you feel the love she shares with them. Watching her world tumble tore me in pieces. I don't think it was until the very end that I finally felt my heart being put back right along side Elaras. How could you not fall in love with Kane and Kam. It was easy to see how Elara did and how the brothers feel for her. I felt this love down in my soul. Melissa Toppen has such a knack for pulling at your emotions. She makes you want to yell and scream because seriously how could you. But just wow what read. SO SO GOOD. I loved every single tear that flowed. So yes be prepared with those tissues ladies and gents because they will be needed. This book I couldn't put down and NEEDS TO BE READ. Seriously pick The Road to You up and hold on for this emotional yet soul searing read.

The Road to You is an UNFORGETTABLE story. I mean this in a good way. It's taken me a couple of days to write this review because I wanted to do this book justice and I don't know if I will but I will say this book is a MUST read. Kam, Kane and Elara's story is passionate, raw and heartbreaking. Melissa's writing grabbed me and held tight through out the whole book. If I wasn't reading it then I was thinking about it. Heck, still am thinking about it. If I could give it more than 5 stars then I would. The Road to You hits close to home for me in more than one way. You'll need a box or two of tissues. I can't wait to see what Melissa comes up with next.
First off I have to say I love the characters names Elara, Kamden & Kane ~ Butter Bean & Tater Tot.

This was a well-written very emotional story of healing, I could not turn the pages fast enough (except when I was wiping the tears from my eyes). Elara and Kane needed each other’s friendship to heal from the untimely death of her best friend and his brother, Kam. The support they had from their families throughout this time was nothing less than amazing.

Heartbreak is a hard thing to get over and Elara definitely had her share throughout the story, but her healing is what was most satisfying. Kane made some hard choices to make along with his own heartbreak but he did what was right for Elara, with her best interests in mind.

Epilogue was perfect!!!

I know it’s early in 2018, but this is going to be a tough one to beat for me this year!
The Road To You by Melissa Toppen was an unputdownable, beautifully written novel!

Elara's journey is one that will leave you a sobbing mess, hoping, somehow your heart will get put back together. The emotions that you will go through, will leave you breathless. One minute, you will be happy for Elara and all that she has overcome, while in the next, you are sobbing for all that she has lost. The lyrical writing from Melissa is what provided me with all the feels, and made me imagine that I was in Elara's situation and how emotional the journey would have been.

I thought that I had already found my favourite read from Melissa, but I was so wrong!! The Road To You has quickly topped that list. If I could give this novel more than 5 stars, I would.

Are you looking for an emotional read? Stop here! OMG this book left me speechless with a lump in my throat and frequent tears on my face. Elara and Kane take us on an amazing journey. This story unfolds going back and forth in time, reliving loss, love, and the beauty of friendship. The writing feels so poetic and insightful as you experience it all. The tragedy that touched both Elara and Kane both brought them together and held them apart. Tissues definitely are required. One of my favorite lines in the book “Chances, choices, memories. These are all the things we get”. This story continues to fill my heart and give food for thought well after its end. Oh by the way, after reading this book I need to go to Italy and I guess you might feel the same. Read it and you will know what I mean (wink wink). Happy Reading!

I got to read The Road To You super early, Ive read it 3x and every time I fall in love these characters more than the last. Kam, Kane and Elara will take you on a beautiful journey, you will love it from beginning to end. You won’t be able to put the book down.

I LOVED THIS BOOK SO SO SO MUCH!!!

“He told me he loved me. He said-I love you to the moon Bean. And then he closed his eyes.”

This story completely and utterly broke me, I was a sobbing mess. GUTTED, TEARS FLOWING NON STOP. SNOT WORTHY!

Elara’s love for Kam is real and beautiful, un-replaceable and unwavering. Their scenes wrecked me, but also helped me to see what true friendship and love was. I adored everything about Kam.
Their relationship was unique and sweet. I found myself wondering if only....

Elara’s love for Kane is powerful, different from what she felt for his brother, their love was full of guilt in the beginning. But it slowly grew through forgiveness, forgiveness of themselves, that it’s okay to love one another and Kam too. They will take you on a journey, their journey, you will watch them grow, forgive, and most of all find themselves and each other. Your heart will SOAR.

I can’t say enough about the emotions this story will pull out of you, just know that it’s beautiful, it’s heartbreaking but none the less one that I’m so Happy was told.
